1. What do you want to accomplish in the literature review section of your project that is distinct from what you might try to accomplish in other sections of your project?
The literature review is a section in which I tend to present my findings accordingly as obtained from primary and secondary sources. This section will include the data that was sourced, tested and proven by other authors or researchers within the South African labour market. Furthermore, in this section, I will compare or show contrast in their findings, also aligning the findings with the controlling purpose of this research.
Example: the Constitution of South Africa sets ground rules for how the Republic should be governed. Some of the secondary sources that I have obtained are in agreement with the Constitution; additionally, they argue against subjects that act against the Constitution. Therefore, with a foundation such as this, the research literature review is a platform for displaying the ongoing debate within the Republic, which relates to the unemployment of Black graduates.
2. What is needed to able to accomplish what is described in point 1?
To accomplish the act of writing a solid literature review, one needs to consider the controlling purpose of the topic, as already mentioned. In addition, one must plan and consider an approach with which the writer will present the literate review. Lastly, one must consider the sources that will be quoted, or those whose work will be used as a basis for argument.
Example: if the writer will present sources that disagree with the topic in the hope of showing a loop within the selected field, the writer must consider how those disagreements will shape one’s own work.
